Connect, learn, engage with fellow citizens. Be inspired to take action against human trafficking and in support of victims and survivors.
Survivors face many challenges after they are out of their trafficking situation. Over the years, the Coalition has assisted many survivors find an opening at and apply to long-term residential programs. These programs give survivors the opportunity to have both housing and recovery needs met. They exist all around the country, and we are fortunate to have several right here in Missouri, including Restoration House.
Guest Speaker Roxie Lloyd will share about Restoration House in Greater Kansas City which provides housing, food, healthcare, therapy, education, emotional and spiritual counseling, and job skill training without charge, without discrimination, to adult women and minor girl survivors of human trafficking.
In 2018, the Department of Homeland Security opened 849 investigations related to human trafficking
